Volunteer High School will begin distributing Chromebooks to freshmen and sophomores this week.  Students will need to return their school issued Chromebook and pick up a new one.  On Wednesday, Freshmen with a last name beginning with the letters A-M will need to come between 8:00 and 11:00 am.  Freshmen with a last beginning with N-Z will come between noon and 3:00 pm.  Sophomores will follow the same schedule on Friday.  A parent or legal guardian will need to be present with the student to sign for the device.  Be sure to bring the power cord and your computer charged up. If you are unable to come during those times, please call VHS to schedule a time.  Pick up days for Juniors and Seniors will be announced next week.

If you have not yet had a picture made for the yearbook, please have someone take a picture of you, waist up with a solid background and send it to vhsannualstaff@gmail.com with the subject line "yearbook pic & your name". This will serve as your yearbook picture for this year in the event that we are unable to reschedule with the photographer before the deadline.

Welcome to Volunteer High School

Hawkins County Schools' graduates are prepared for college and career to enable them to become productive citizens and successful members of the workforce.  Hawkins County Schools recognizes that when families are engaged in their children's education, the students achieve higher grades, have better attendance and behavior, complete more homework and demonstrate a more positive attitude toward school. We believe that building meaningful and authentic partnerships with our families and communities is the best way to ensure our students' success in school, careers and life.
