Talk about student leadership! Our culinary students were stars at the Chamber Breakfast. We were especially proud when the student chef leading the crew took the stage to introduce their team and the delicious breakfast they prepared. Fantastic work, everyone!

High-fives all around for our athletes at the Special Olympics Area 32 Bowling event! Students from Clinch, Surgoinsville Middle, Church Hill Middle, Volunteer, and Cherokee competed, earned ribbons, and celebrated with pizza! What a successful day!

District 2AA Girls Volleyball Bracket Note the first two nights of the tournament will be at Claiborne then finish up at Cherokee! Lady Falcons is the #1 seed!

Freshmen Baylyn Rose has punched her ticket to the TSSAA Golf State Championship next week in Sevierville with a respectable score of 91 on grueling Elizabethton Golf Course. Baylyn secured All Region accolades with this accomplishment! The last female to qualify from Volunteer was 23 years ago in 1998. Congratulations as well to Colton Miller for a great season and Region qualifying performance last week.

Battle of Hawkins County Special Olympics Bowling Thanks to Rack N Roll for hosting this event of our student-athletes!

Girls Soccer will host Greeneville this afternoon with this match featuring the Twin Lakes Conference leaders. Both teams are undefeated in District play and this game will likely seal the Conference Championship for one of these teams. All Students will be admitted free admission this afternoon! Gate opens at 5pm.

Colton Miller and Baylyn Rose qualify for the Region 1 Golf Tournament next Monday, 9/29. Colton played another round of consistent golf finishing with an 80. Baylyn didn't have her best day but showed mental toughness as a freshmen shooting a 95 on a very challenging gold layout for the ladies today. Congratulations to golfers Kinsley Cassidy, Kathryn Greise, Brock Mowell, and Jonah Williams for a successful season and making it to the District! We look forward to seeing all of you back on the courses next season.
