Twin Lakes Conference Baseball Regular Season Awards were selected today by the league's coaches and two of our Volunteer Falcons earned 1st Team All Conference.

JV Baseball Falcons defeated rivals Cherokee, 9-1, in the District Tournament Semi-Final and await the winner of Greeneville and Grainger. The Championship game is scheduled tentatively for 7pm tonight at Volunteer.

Volunteer Varsity Falcons Earn Walk-Off Win Over Elizabethton on Senior Night!

It came down to the wire on Friday, as Volunteer Varsity Falcons grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 2-1, over Elizabethton. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the seventh when Emily Walker doubled, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Volunteer Varsity Falcons pitchers struck out four, while Elizabethton sat down five.
Volunteer Varsity Falcons were the first to get on the board in the first when Maddie Holder singled, scoring one run.
LACI GOBBLE homered to left field on a full count, which helped Elizabethton tie the game at one in the top of the fourth.
Rylee Smith earned the win for Volunteer Varsity Falcons. The pitcher allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. LACI GOBBLE took the loss for Elizabethton. The pitcher went six and one-third innings, allowing two runs on eight hits, striking out five and walking one.
Danni Guinn and Emily Walker each collected two hits for Volunteer Varsity Falcons. Maddie Holder and Emily Walker each drove in one run for Volunteer Varsity Falcons. Volunteer Varsity Falcons turned one double play in the game.
LACI GOBBLE went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. PIPER BENNETT led Elizabethton with two hits in three at bats. Elizabethton were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. AVA HANSON made the most plays with five.
Volunteer Varsity Falcons welcome Greeneville Varsity Lady Devils 2026 on Tuesday for their next game.

Volunteer Varsity Falcons Fall After Strong Showing By Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils

Volunteer Varsity Falcons had trouble keeping up with Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils in a 9-2 loss on Thursday.
Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Kaine Ricker doubled to center field, Tegan Begley singled to center field, Jack Lister hit a sacrifice fly, and Jacob Ward singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Sam Thompson earned the win for Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils. The hurler gave up seven hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out 13 and walking none. Avery Seal took the loss for Volunteer Varsity Falcons. The starter went four and one-third innings, surrendering six runs on nine hits, striking out none and walking four.
Gavin Hickernell and Cade Smith were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Volunteer Varsity Falcons. Greyson Dennis led Volunteer Varsity Falcons with two hits in three at bats. Volunteer Varsity Falcons turned one double play in the game.
Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils amassed 11 hits in the game. Number seven hitter, Jack Lister, showed the depth of Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils's lineup, by leading them with three hits in three at bats. Jacob Ward and Will Harmon each collected multiple hits for Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils. Tegan Begley stole two bases. Greeneville Varsity 2026 Green Devils worked the count all day, piling up seven walks.
