A huge congratulations to Makenna Dalton, Timber McLain, and Madison Morelock for earning their State FFA Degrees! This is a major accomplishment that reflects years of commitment to their SAE projects. To earn this degree, members must demonstrate significant investment and growth in their supervised agricultural experience, complete numerous hours of agricultural education and FFA involvement, and show leadership through activities and service.

We are so proud of our students for putting their learning into action! 👏🔥
Today, our Teaching as a Profession students, led by Mrs. Ashley Singleton, partnered with our Fire Science students, led by Mr. John Murnane, to deliver fire safety lessons at CHMS.
TAP students observed a Fire Science class, collaborated to identify key fire safety concepts, and designed engaging lesson plans and presentations...then took that learning straight to middle school students.
This is what real-world learning looks like: collaboration, application, and impact. We love seeing our CTE programs work together to create meaningful experiences for students in our community! 💙🧡

What an incredible experience at the 98th Annual State FFA Convention!
Our students represented our chapter so well as they competed in Environmental & Natural Resources, Farm Business Management, and Quiz Bowl.
As a chapter, we were honored to receive the Superior Chapter Award. Throughout the convention, we attended general sessions, educational sessions, competed in events, connected with other chapters, and celebrated the achievements of FFA members from across the state.
Thank you to our supportive parents, administration, chaperones, and community for always encouraging and believing in our students. We couldn’t do it without you!
I couldn’t be more proud of this group and all they’ve accomplished. The future of agriculture is in great hands!

District Announcement:
The 1st Annual Hawkins County Nurse's Bowl is officially in the books!
We are so proud of the students from both Volunteer High School and Cherokee High School who competed. These future healthcare professionals showcased incredible poise, skills, and mastery of content through hands-on skills challenges, a terminology exam, and a competitive quiz bowl!
The best part of the day? Seeing the amazing camaraderie between the students. Instead of just competing, students from both schools meshed together beautifully, supporting one another and learning together throughout the event.
Congratulations to the Volunteer High School student participants and Mrs. Keri Helton for taking home the win at our inaugural event! To our phenomenal instructors—Eric, Angel, and Keri—thank you! It is so evident that you are pouring your passion for the nursing craft into our students. Thank you for everything you do to prepare them for the future and for your dedication to our Hawkins County community.
